When - Saturday, 25th March
Time - 05:00PM - 07:30PM
The penultimate walk of our walking season with you. We are keen to explore with you how the Dehli of the 1800s to now, 2023, has transformed through the intent of those who built it. Who were they? Why did they make the buildings and statues they did? Who was allowed here and who wasn't? So this walk is about how we can answer these questions now - through the buildings and statues that outlasted those who built them. This is special, and only, repeated walk of ours because we wanted to pay homage to the walk we started with.
🦁The Lion in our title refers to British symbolism of the lion, the former vice regal residence, and the Raisina Hill. Who, do you think, The Tiger refers to?🐯🐅
If you have attended previously, then obviously let the rest of us answer.
