Details
  • Only curated walking tour on the Water Heritage of our culture! Though a desert, Rajasthan is a water civilization and water is our cultural repository. Our traditions & beliefs, textiles, art, food, culture, valour, would not exist in its absence and every tale becomes magical in its presence. No wonder then that the onset of the monsoon in the month of July kickstarts all the major festivals across the state.
  • It is our earnest attempt to present this ‘unique side’ of the desert state. One wonders, how did this barren dead place evolve into a thriving and beautiful culture visited by millions every year?
  • The single word answer is “Water”. This transformation, which is nothing short of a miracle, happened due to our unique relationship with water. We celebrate water in every aspect of our lives, be it our beliefs & traditions, food, language, art, and architecture, music, or dance. In essence, water is our collective cultural repository.
  • Rajasthan is a ‘water civilization in the Desert’ and we want to tell beautiful stories from this place which will keep you riveted for the two hours that you will spend with us. Our walking tours are multi-layered just like the place. We cover a vast range of themes from history, architecture & engineering, local traditions & beliefs, politics, intrigue and more.
