Come join our resident elephants, Laxmi and Rangmala for an unforgettable breakfast, lunch or dinner. Spend your time elephant bathing/scrubbing, (weather permitting), feeding and walking with them in the wilderness accompanied by our in-house specialist. Our elephants and camels are adopted from Amer Fort and rescued from a life of hard labour. The only time you will ever see a restraint on them is during a visit from the vet! Otherwise, they live in harmony at the camp accompanied by their mahout. We aim to maintain an area of preserved wilderness and natural beauty whilst creating a sanctuary for animals to live and for humans to enjoy. To provide an alternative hospitality experience in Jaipur, and for travellers to see first hand a more agricultural way of living. But most of all, we aim to have a positive effect on the environment and the local communities around us, all the while ensuring our animals live in a natural environment for them – rather than the bustling streets of Jaipur.
Details
  • Guests arrive at the camp and are greeted by the resident elephants and are allowed to make their first contact with these kind hearted giants by feeding them seasonal fruits which they love.
  • The guests are given an introduction and brief on the camp and elephants, their history of how and why they were adopted, by a member of the family, happy to answer any question - followed by a leisurely stroll in our private protected wilderness - with the guests allowed to go upto one hour as the elephants need the gentle exercise daily.
  • Later the guest can scrub the feet or bathe their own elephants (if the weather permits) with the help of the camp staff and mahout.
  • Walk with the elephants will come to an end at the camp where guests will be served a curated breakfast/ lunch / dinner (one meal).
  • We encourage our guests to interact with our resident elephants, Laxmi, Rangmala or Anarkali in an organic, non commercial manner by feeding them and walking beside them accompanied by the mahout and in house naturalists in our private forest along with special organic farm fresh meals in exclusive venues in the wilderness.
  • If the weather is right, even bathing them is an option! The idea is to spend up close quality time with our elephants in a non touristy manner, and one can enjoy a farm fresh, homemade meal.
  • We do not conduct or support any rides or painting!
