Secluded from the crowds and noises of the city, this hike allows you to enjoy the peace of woods, the scenic campsites, and the enchanting view of mountains in seclusion.
It is a relatively easy trail, and doesn’t see much footfall, making it ideal to find oneself in solitude with nature in the outdoors.
On this trail you walk through apple orchards, you could pause to meet some locals (who are in fact owners of these orchards) and have an interesting exchange with them. Continuing, the trail takes you through dense forest which houses indigenous flora and fauna. Make sure to carry a pair of binoculars to spot some exotic Himalayan species of birds.
The last one hour of the hike (the climb to the summit) is relatively steeper. The effort of the entire climb pays off as you reach the summit and are embraced with beautiful panoramic views of majestic mountains and peaks like the Hanuman Tibba and Friendship peak.
After spending some time at the summit, you make your way down through beautiful forest trails capping off this hike with a sense of fulfilment.
