Delve into the stunningly minimalistic works of late artist Nasreen Mohamedi in this encyclopaedic exhibition that showcases her unique vision and works, that were at odd with the figurative tradition popular in Baroda. This solo presentation comes after more than 30 years after her last show in Bombay, a year after her untimely death in 1991.
An artist only just finding a spot in the modernist limelight, Nasreen’s work is monochromatic and meticulous, and this exhibition presents early works, along with an archival section of photographs, process drawings, studio notes and works by some of her contemporaries.

- We will meet at the CSMVS entrance by 10:45 AM and enter together at 11 AM. After the tour ends at 12:30 PM, guests are welcome to explore the rest of CSMVS on their own after the tour.
