This solo presentation comes after more than 30 years after her last show in Bombay, a year after her untimely death in 1991. An artist only just finding a spot in the modernist limelight, Nasreen’s work is monochromatic and meticulous, and this exhibition presents early works, along with an archival section of photographs, process drawings, studio notes and works by some of her contemporaries.
