Situated in an old home with bright yellow exteriors, a mix of upcycled furniture, lights, and traditional artefacts with a lingering smell of incense makes for the perfect atmosphere for a traditional oota (food). Using only fresh and locally available ingredients, this dining experience is by reservation only to avoid food wastage and maintain the authenticity of flavours and preparation. The items on the menu are thoroughly researched & designed from closely guarded family recipes passed on from grandmothers, grandaunts and other generations. The kitchen is run by home cooks with no formal culinary training but decades of knowledge learning from their families. They are experts in making incredible and unusual home-style Gowda & Mangalorean food. The menus are curated to ensure balance in flavours, textures, colours and always include seasonal specialities. All meals are served on banana leaves and guests are encouraged to eat with their hands.
