- This tour begins in front of the Dalai Lama temple where we take a hidden trail, the Kora — a walk where the Buddhist monks and older devotees walk in a clockwise direction around Dalai Lama temple to attain clarity and enlightenment.
- After, there’s a visit to the temple of the Dalai Lama, where the Dalai Lama lives in his residence. It is followed by a 10 min Q&A session about his life and that of Tibetan refugees living in exile. Then we return to the main square on foot (5 min) and take a tuktuk to Bhagsu waterfalls using a secret trail. That's followed by a visit to explore St. John's Church, built in the wilderness by the British back in 1852. Lastly, see the monument of Lord Elgin before taking a walk back to the town square, where our mini tour ends.
