One of the most popular treks in Himachal Pradesh, Triund offers breathtaking views of Kangra valley & the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges. A steep ascent of 1,100 metres, this one is neither a lengthy nor a difficult trek.
Details
- We will meet in Dharamkot, from here we will head to Gallu famously known as Gallu temple.. From Gallu, the Triund trail is everything a nature lover would dream of. Accompanied by the sweet and wonderful sounds of birds, small & waterfalls, we will hike through the gorgeous alpine scenery and the fairy tale forest with Himalayan flora & fauna and fresh air to breathe.
- During the hike, you will see the famous peaks of the Dhauladhar granite mountain, the famous sites of Mcleodganj like Dalai Lama temple, the cricket stadium and a hebrew village in Dharamkot.
- Upon reaching the top, we will spend one hour of leisure time admiring the splendid face to face view of Mun peak and Indraharpas. Around 2pm, we will begin to descend back to Gallu and be back to Mcleodganj main square by 6pm. Our triund Day hike ends here at sunset.
