Sitting atop the lush Neel Parvat, Chandi Devi Temple watches over the city of Haridwar and is frequented as a pilgrimage site. It is accessible by a scenic cable-car ride, but one can also choose to hike up the hill—the perfect activity to burn some calories, avoid the crowds and get rewarded with splendid views as one ascends.

- Short drive to the trail-head. Hike up Neel Parvat (30-40 minutes). One can take a cable car instead as well. Visit Chandi Devi Temple, have a leisurely picnic from a hidden view point complete with chatais, delicious snacks, tea and coffee. Walk or ride down and drive back.

- The pickup and drop off points are included if it is within 3kms of Amrit Ghat. For places further away, a surcharge may apply. Alternatively, guests can meet the guide directly at the Trailhead.
- Comfortable walking shoes with a good grip and athleisure clothing recommended.
- Small backpack for water and essentials is recommended, avoid sleeveless clothing or shorts if you would like to enter the temple.
- Please refrain from littering and collect your trash for disposal later.
- The hike itself is on a paved pathway and with breaks, it is very manageable. However, it is steep and for people with knee or back problems, or those who aren't used to too much physical activity, it may be a bit much. In that case, they can opt to take the cable car up (the ticket for which is included in the price of this experience).
