Join us for a unique culinary journey celebrating the traditions of Kashmiri winters with Landscape Architect and Home Cook Anita Tikoo (@a_madteaparty). Set in the tranquil and spiritual ambiance of Amrit Bhawan (www.amritbhawan.in), a boutique riverside retreat by the Ganges, this event will immerse you in the rich heritage of Kashmiri Pandit cuisine, specially curated for Chillai Kalan, the coldest period of the winter season.
Anita is well known for her expertise in traditional Kashmiri dishes. For this event, she will showcase a vegetarian winter feast, featuring recipes that honor the authentic flavors and food customs of Kashmiri Pandits. All dishes will be prepared without the use of onion or garlic. Some dishes will feature dried vegetables, a key ingredient in Kashmir's winter cuisine. The menu also includes some favourites like yakhni, roganjosh, mool chetin and phirni. Come savor the flavors of Chillai Kalan and celebrate the rich traditions of Kashmiri winters with us!
