About the movie:

Modern Times (1936) is a silent comedy film directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin. The movie is set during the Great Depression and follows Chaplin's iconic character, the Tramp, as he struggles to survive in a rapidly industrializing world.

The film opens with the Tramp working on an assembly line at a factory, where he is driven to the brink of madness by the repetitive and dehumanizing nature of the work.
