Also known as the ‘Potter’s Colony’ in Mumbai, the word ‘Kumbhar’ means Potter and 'Wada' means colony. The ‘Potter's Heritage’ experience will take you through the by lanes of this unique, cultural area in Mumbai.
Explore creations by local potters as they make diyas, everyday utensils, decorative pieces, earthen pots and more as we go. A local who is from a Potter family, will guide us though the lanes showcasing how this craft has been a means of livelihood generation after generation and a lot more stories will come along your way, about the community.
