We're excited to launch The Happy Gut Lab, a series of culinary workshops exploring the art of wholesome, nourishing food.
In our first session, Chef Sarah, founder of Copper + Cloves and a passionate plant based health coach, will guide us through they step-by step guide to crafting a delicious salad. Sarah believes that eating healthy plant-based food has to be delicious and satisfying if it is to be a sustainable way of eating, and thats what this workshop is all about - creating the kind of salad that everyone actually wants to eat!
This workshop is in collaboration with Farmizen, an initiative dedicated to ensuring farmers earn a fair living without resorting to environmentally or socially harmful practices. Bringing together marginalised farmers who grow chemical free food and conscious consumers, Farmizen fosters a more sustainable food system. We’re thrilled to have its founder, Shameek, join us to share insights into our food systems and the vital role we play as consumers in the food cycle.
Farmizen will be providing the fresh and organic healthy produce that Chef Sarah will use to create salads that you would be proud to serve at your next dinner party or could make a big batch of for your meal prep for the week. The kind of salad that leaves you feeling satisfied and nourished.
