If you want to escape the madness of the city and find an enchanting, quiet, green and peaceful spot then Delhi offers many many such havens across the city. One of my favourites is the Rose Garden- I love the forestry feel and a well maintained running track - Delhi winters without the pollution is bliss. Time to get your picnic baskets out!
