About Paithrika Yogam

Paithrika Yogam with The Kochi Heritage Project is an informal interaction that encourages dialogue and discussion to understand heritage as seen and experienced by individuals in different contexts. We aim to engage with the history of Kochi, in various fields of culture, art and heritage trends, bringing together speakers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. These informal and engaging discussions are similar to traditional yogams/baithaks, giving speakers and the audience the opportunity to do their part in initiating a commune and to share their thoughts while reflecting on India’s cultural heritage and its infinite manifestations.

About Ezha Heritage

EZHA is a group of architects who focus on preserving and restoring historic sites and interiors. The group's members, Swathi Subramanian, Savita Rajan, and Ritu Sara Thomas, formed "Team Ezha" while studying at the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi. ARPO chose EZHA to document and plan the restoration of the Karnikara Mandapam, a 200-year-old timber marvel. Their project received a UNESCO Asia Pacific award for cultural heritage conservation.
