Maharashtra Nature Park is a manmade forest with a vast variety of trees in its vicinity surrounded by the mangrove forests of Mithi River. While venturing in MNP, one fails to remember that they are still very much in the heart of the city. This man-made forest was made on one of Mumbai's biggest dumping grounds!
This park is a haven for about 30 species of spiders, around 4 species of mammals, more than 125 species of birds and more than 10 species of reptiles and amphibians.
