9:00 am - 11:00 am Caregiving Professionalism/Nanny Etiquette (Chai Break)
Led by a Behavioral Training Coach and Certified Executive Coach (ABNLP) (MMS)
The Caregiver will learn how to:
- Represent the family well in public, reflecting their values.
- Show professionalism through dress, hygiene, punctuality, and phone use.Communicate respectfully with parents, children, and staff.
- Model positive behavior and maintain an uplifting attitude with children.
- Respect household boundaries and handle private matters discreetly.
- Act professionally during playdates and outings, respecting social etiquette.
- Stay flexible and positive with changing schedules, even without rest breaks.
- Keep family matters private; avoid gossip and social media sharing.Handle conflicts calmly and respectfully at home and in public.
Second Session
11:30 am - 3:00 pm Interactive Play and Reading (Includes Lunch)
Led by an IB teacher from a leading international school
The Caregiver will learn how to:
- Support motor development through everyday activities like climbing, running, rolling dough, and threading beads.
- Encourage creativity by involving children in drawing, pretend play, cooking, and building forts or cities.
- Help children build language skills by singing, storytelling, talking about daily life, and reading together.
- Use interactive reading techniques like picture walks and asking open-ended questions to develop vocabulary and thinking.
- Foster cognitive growth with counting, color naming, puzzles, and games that require thinking and remembering.
- Tailor activities to the child’s age: younger children need vocabulary-building while older ones can discuss and reflect.
- Promote play as essential for learning—through all six stages, from solo to social play.
- Practice dialogic reading using prompts like “What happened?” or “Why do you think that is?” to deepen understanding.
- Propose freetime activities that combine motor, cognitive, language, and creative development (e.g., storytelling while drawing).
- Celebrate progress, share successes with parents, and stay curious about ways to support every child’s growth.
Language:
- Both sessions will be conducted in Hindi.
- Take-home materials for didis are available in Hindi or English, based on preference.
