Just across Humayun’s tomb sits Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya’s Dargah, a Sufi saint who believed love of humanity was the love of God. His vision for the world was based on pluralism and kindness for all. And trust me, as you walk towards the mausoleum, you can feel strong vibrations that have the ability to transform you to a Delhi hundreds of years ago. Apart from its rich history, the hustle bustle around the area brings it alive and as you walk through the lanes towards the Dargah the kebab stalls will entice you! I suggest trying to make it on a Thursday night- it’s qawwaali night and the Sufi music will bring the gods down to earth- it’s quite an experience!
