This special cultural evening is being hosted at Bastiram Sanskrit Vidyalaya, which is housed in a beautiful haveli along the Ganga. The programme will begin with a Ganga Aarti and Vedic Chanting at 6.45pm at Khemka Ghat. Tea and light snacks will be served right after this. There will also be a stall with Rudrakshas, other semi precious stones and gemstone malas by the famous Om Prakash and Sons for those who are interested in spirituality and astrology.
After this, Heritage Architect Apoorva Goyal will be presenting a photographic presentation on Kankhal, contrasting it with its more famous cousin Haridwar, with insights about its history, culture and art. She will draw upon her study of this area that she has conducted with the help of Phd students at IIT Roorkee and will be sharing insightful details about just how much there is to see and preserve in Kankhal.
The talk will be followed by a short discussion with Architect-Hotelier Varun Bajaj and other experts in the audience. Finally, there will be 30 minutes of Hindustani music to bring the evening to a fitting end and give a chance to all those present to mingle with each other.
This event is being co-hosted by Ekat Travel & Lodging LLP and Himalaya Group.
