Ek Shaam Poetry Ke Naam - A room. Some beanbags and cushions. Souls lost in Hindi poetry and Urdu verse. Open the doors, and enter the world of Bachchan, Dinkar, Akhtar, Ghalib, Sahir, and others.
With Ek Shaam Poetry Ke Naam, we bring to you an evening of hour-long recital of poetry written by masters of Hindi and Urdu.
Interspersed in these recitals are stories of their life, translations of their works and a discovery of the nuances in their written word. Once in a while, you might find a surprise - a little something out of the box designed for the lover of poetry.
Come join us - the mehfil awaits. (Please note: This is NOT an Open Mic)
