Calling all Bangaloreans! Have you:
- Always wanted to share your writing in print, but didn’t think it possible in 2025?
- Got the seed for a story but find yourself stuck or unable to write beyond a few lines?
- Been looking for a writing opportunity centred on all things Bangalore?
If you're passionate about the city’s people, food, or culture, or have always dreamt of seeing your writing in print, the Luru Magazine Writers’ Circle wants to hear from you!
Led by Anishaa Tavag, Editor at Luru Mag, the Writers’ Circle provides a collaborative environment for you to enhance your writing skills, develop your ideas into working drafts, or simply dabble in the process of creative non-fiction writing.
Although you do not need to have a proposal or draft, it would help you to consider:
- What stories, events, or people in the city inspire you
- What genres of non-fiction writing (memoir, personal essay, review, etc.) you would like to explore
- Your motivation(s) to write
