This Women’s Day, join us for a special all-women Nature Walk, a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect. Step into the greens of Goregaon Film City, beside Sanjay Gandhi National Park, and experience the joy of women coming together to explore, observe, and celebrate nature.
As we transition from winter into summer, the forest begins to shift in subtle yet beautiful ways. The cool stillness of winter gives way to warmer days, golden light, and trees preparing for fruit and seed. Dry leaves crunch underfoot, fresh leaf flushes appear on branches, and pockets of shade offer quiet refuge. Look closely, and you’ll notice nature’s small wonders: a shimmering jewel beetle catching the sun, a camouflaged spider resting against bark, or a snail tucked safely in cool corners.
This seasonal change also brings lively bird activity. Winter visitors begin their journeys onward, while resident birds grow more vocal, filling the forest with calls and courtship songs. You may spot sunbirds darting among blooms, drongos perched watchfully, or parakeets flashing green against the sky.
Amidst this changing rhythm, our guided Nature Walk invites you to slow down and observe the forest in transition, noticing butterflies basking in the warmth, birds preparing for breeding season, and the resilient life that adapts with every season.
This trail is more than just a walk. It is a sensory journey into a forest in motion, where every sound, colour, and movement tells the story of change.
Please note: The walk involves a little downhill and uphill section. It is slightly challenging and not recommended for children below 5 years.
