This brand new walk launches at the Mumbai Walks Fest in December 2025!
A relic of a forest remains in Bandra. This walk will trace the forest Trees of Bandra between the two hills, Mount Mary and Pali. Walkers will have an opportunity to meet Trees we don't often see in the city. Told through a narrative of myth and facts, this walk is an invitation, so imagine familiar topographies with imagined pasts.
Sananda Mukhopadhyaya is an arts educator and theatre maker. She grew up with biologist parents, in a green nook of the city, trekking the Sahyadris through the monsoons and so many of her notions on life are tethered to the natural world.
