Nothing slows the pace of our lives quite like a quiet afternoon filled with the earthy warmth of a tandoor, the comforting aroma of fresh rotis puffing on a choolha, and the rhythmic grinding of spices on a silbatta.

Over more than a decade in the food industry, we found ourselves drawn back—again and again—to the simplicity and wisdom of village-style cooking. In our villages, cooking has never been just a task; it is a shared ritual. A moment to pause, to connect, to laugh, to pass down stories and skills that time has almost forgotten.

There is a deep joy in cooking together—one that bonds people, calms the mind, and brings us closer to nature. Yet, so many traditional techniques, once second nature, are slowly fading away.

This experience is our humble attempt to bring them back. To rewind, to reconnect with the earth, and to celebrate food that is honest, wholesome, and deeply nourishing.

At our beautiful home in Jaipur, we invite you to learn traditional cooking methods and the recipes behind iconic Indian dishes. Let’s cook side by side, exchange stories, and bond over the magic that has always brought people together—food.

What's included

  • 🌾 Together, we’ll prepare a thoughtfully curated six-course meal, featuring snacks and main courses drawn from iconic Indian kitchens across the country. From Bihar’s rustic Litti Chokha and Hyderabad’s bold Green Chilli Mutton to Rajasthan’s fiery Garlic Chutney and Kerala’s fragrant Chicken Roast, each dish carries a story of its land and people. We’re happy to tailor the menu to include dishes you love, as long as we’re informed at least 24 hours in advance, subject to seasonal availability.
  • 🔥 All ingredients will be thoughtfully sourced and prepped by us — you just need to bring your curious self. P.S. Come on an empty stomach 🙂
  • 🎲 While the heart of the experience is learning traditional recipes, we also play fun, easygoing games to get to know each other better and keep the atmosphere light, warm, and joyful. 🍺 And yes — we’re happy to serve beers as you cook, because good food tastes even better with great company.
