Undercurrents with Shubham Roy & Sylvester Pradeep

We’d like you to come spend a Wednesday evening listening to two wonderful Bangalore-based singer-songwriters - Shubham Roy and Sylvester Pradeep

Shubham Roy is an independent artist from Shillong and now based in Bangalore, blends folk roots with indie fusion to craft heartfelt songs in Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, and Punjabi. His music is intimate, poetic, and shaped by the everyday stories of life. You can find Shubham Roy on Instagram @shubhamroy_music.

Sylvester Pradeep is a Bangalore based musician/artist (illustrator, painter), songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer. He has written, composed and arranged over 150+ songs and continues to do so with the one sole purpose of making honest music right from the heart that makes a difference in this world. Sylvester initially composed original music for plays such as “mooru Kaasina sangeetha nataka” and theater groups such as “yours truly”. He has also experimented with improv theater with improv live music which has won awards and appreciation in the theater groups. His work in music direction and composition for movies, short films and ad jingles have earned awards and nominations at several international film festivals. What is Undercurrents?

This is a new project where we want to invite our little community to come sit down and listen to some new music by local indie artists. So grab an early dinner, and spend an hour sitting down with two wonderful artists, their music, and the stories behind them - without distractions.

The majority share of ticket sales directly go towards supporting them and their music.
