About RINI:
Leading an international cadre of musicians, New Jersey based, Chennai born singer, composer and violinist Harini "Rini" Raghavan creates her own version of Indian Jazztronica. Harini draws from her formal training in Carnatic music and work at Berklee College of Music in Electronic Production to bring together sounds and music of her birthplace in India and her home in the US. An experienced performer and recording artist, she has recorded and performed with Grammy winning composers A.R.Rahman, Bill Whelan and the renowned Israeli Singer-Songwriter Idan Raichel, headlining prestigious festivals and venues in the US including Boston Symphony Hall,Lincoln Center, Beacon Theatre and the United Nations General Assembly and in India including Phoenix Market City Bengaluru, Barracuda Brew Chennai, Under 25 Festival Bengaluru, Antisocial Mumbai, High Spirits Pune and Auro Delhi. Rini has released music worldwide to critical acclaim, including a feature in Rolling Stone India, New York Music Daily, Republic of Jazz and World Music Central.

shaped by spontaneous interactions and the energy of the present moment. The band features Legsang Sherpa on guitar, Solomon Bishwakarma on keyboard, Roshan Thapa on bass, and Rahul Diyali on drums. As a collective, they bring a spirit of exploration and creativity to their craft, blending a range of musical influences into a unified and boundaryless sonic experience.

Now, in 2026, The Humming Tree is back in a brand-new, purpose-designed space in Indiranagar. Built across 12,000 sq. ft., the venue features a 600+ capacity performance space, world-class sound and lighting systems, and a diverse F&B proposition.
