Primarily a research centre, The Registry of Sarees is open to visitors who can learn more about their various textile-related activities, which include archiving, design and curatorial projects. Housed in an unassuming building in an industrial area, their beautiful workspace is Japanese-inspired with a small research library and a space for events and temporary exhibitions. The Registry also manages an important archive of khadi sarees that is available for viewing at request. They design and commission a limited collection of sarees that are available for sale at their office.
