This is one of our favourite weekend traditions : The Reading Social.
Held in a beautiful bungalow that houses Copper + Cloves and Champaca Bookstore - the Reading Social is about making time to read without interruptions, and then connecting with a community of readers who are as passionate about books as you are!
Each month, the Reading Social community gathers for a wholesome morning with coffee, books and and a nourishing breakfast in a lovely cafe setting. If this sounds like a perfect way to spend your morning, join us for the Reading Social 📚☕🥙
Event Flow
When you book your ticket, you will be sent a menu so that you can select a nourishing breakfast in advance.
Upon arrival (the event starts at 9am), you can find a cosy nook inside the cafe or outside the cafe to read silently, keeping your device in our basket (the reading social is best when you keep your phone away and just immerse in reading). During the silent reading period, we will bring over your breakfast. After the 90 minutes of silent reading we will form reading circles to discuss the books we're reading.
