The Feast in the Fields is a celebration of the union of Goan culture, its rich harvest, Feni and most importantly, the hardworking hands that feed us. After many successful editions, this immersive experience led by Hansel Vaz & Fazenda Cazulo is back!

This year, Chef Ralph Prazeres is joining forces with a brand new menu to take this feast to the next level.

Dive into the incredible history of the food, a community-style lunch that helps connect guests to their food, incredible feni cocktails (including some special tastings of Fazenda's new limited edition flavoured Fenis), some wonderful music for company, all set against lush Goan fields where you can watch a live harvest as you eat.

Ralph Prazeres, founder of Padaria Prazeres & Praça Prazeres (#⁠19 on the Condé Nast Traveller × District Top Restaurant Awards), is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in London and boasts of a rich culinary background, having honed his skills at renowned establishments like St John’s, Clos Maggiore, The Rosewood London and Bao, including a stint at the internationally acclaimed noma in Copenhagen.

Fazenda Cazulo is a premium, family-owned Goan spirit dedicated to restoring the authenticity and prestige of Feni. Founded by Hansel Vaz, a second-generation distiller, the brand meticulously sources and bottles only the finest, handcrafted Feni—derived from cashew or coconut—that captures the original, uncompromised essence of its ingredients.

Good to know

• It's going to be warm and sunny, but there will be a nice afternoon breeze, and you'll be seated under a canopy of trees, so comfy, casual shoes and light clothing is highly recommended.
• Since this is out in the middle of paddy fields, there will be a porta-loo arranged for guests to use.
• There is a vegetarian menu but this authentic Goan meal will have more meat options.
