About the artist- Sangeeta Lahiri Bhattacharjee

Sangeeta Lahiri Bhattacharjee, daughter of sitar maestro Sri Rabindranath Lahiri, is a dynamic vocalist trained under legendary gurus like Pt. Chinmoy Lahiri and Ustad Ghulam Akbar Khan. Known for her powerful yet soulful voice, she excels in Hindustani classical, thumri, ghazal, and Sufi music. A recipient of prestigious awards like “Surmani” and an A-graded artist with All India Radio, Sangeeta has performed at renowned venues across India and the USA. She also mentors budding artists through her Shruti School of Music, leaving an indelible mark on the world of Indian classical music.
