About the artist- Kaamod Subhash

Kaamod Subhash is an accomplished artist, singer, music composer, and vocal coach with a rich musical heritage from Nagpur. Trained under his father, Shri R. Subhash, a renowned Marathi Ghazal singer, Kaamod holds a master’s degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music from the University of Mumbai.

Kaamod has received prestigious accolades, including the Yuva Ratna Award for his contributions to India’s cultural development, proposed by the legendary Shri Jagjit Singh, and the ‘Versatile Star Artist Of The Year Award’ by the University of Mumbai in 2007.

Influenced by ghazal legends like Mehdi Hasan, Ghulam Ali, Jagjit Singh, and Hariharan, Kaamod’s talent has been recognized and praised by maestros such as Ghulam Ali, Anup Jalota, Pankaj Udhas, Talat Aziz, and Ustad Rashid Khan.
