If you’re done with the crowds in Leh, why not take a morning, or the entire day to get away to the marshes about 7km away from the city. It’s got excellent views of the surrounding mountains and the city, but at the same time is also a favourite of birders – especially during the summer. No matter the season though, it’s a great escape just 30 mins from the city.
