✦ What is Shibari?
Shibari is a contemporary form of rope bondage that was originated in Japan in the early 1200-1800's. Later popularized in the 21st century as a pleasure-craft (i.e for kink and bdsm). Shibari, despite its various styles, adheres to a certain aesthetic and exclusively uses ropes as a primary tool to build trust and connect with oneself and others.
✦ What is Teasing and Denial?
Teasing and denial is a form of erotic play where one partner is deliberately kept on the edge of sensation, touch, or release — building anticipation and heightening sensitivity. It’s not just about withholding; it’s about creating a slow, intentional build-up of desire and trust between partners.
