Senses on Edge : A Tease & Denial Shibari Workshop for Couples

This is a 2 hour partnered workshop for couples who are ready to explore the slow, sensual power of teasing and denial with Shibari — a Japanese bondage technique. Think: the ache of sensual tension, craving, and playful control.

It is an alcohol-free, beginner-friendly experience is designed to connect, uplift, and empower participants in an erotic and playful setting. Our previous workshop organized by Silly Hands Shibari have all been a house-full across India and this time we're hosting our first in-person Shibari-Kink workshop in Bangalore!

You can bring your trusted partner, a friend, a date, an ex, your neighbour? This is an LGBTQ+ space. Allies are welcome!

We’ll give you rope. What you do with the craving is up to you.

What is Shibari?

Shibari is a contemporary form of rope bondage that was originated in Japan in the early 1200-1800's. Later popularized in the 21st century as a pleasure-craft (i.e for kink and bdsm). Shibari, despite its various styles, adheres to a certain aesthetic and exclusively uses ropes as a primary tool to build trust and connect with oneself and others.

What is Teasing and Denial?

Teasing and denial is a form of erotic play where one partner is deliberately kept on the edge of sensation, touch, or release — building anticipation and heightening sensitivity. It’s not just about withholding; it’s about creating a slow, intentional build-up of desire and trust between partners.
