An hour long sea sail with the Pondy Yacht Club!
Join us on the smooth open ocean, we start at the PYC jetty, follow the fishing harbour out into the Bay of Bengal. Relish the sea breeze and return via the lush mangroves to the sound of nesting birds.

Safety and risk
We take all the necessary precautions to make you have a safe sailing experience. But sailing is an “adventure sport” and therefore has an element of risk. For this purpose, you will be asked to sign an Indemnity letter before you set sail.
What should I wear?
Wear light, comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting wet in. Carry a hat that you can tie to your head or chances are that it’ll fly off in the wind. You may want to put on some sunscreen.
It’s a good idea to have your hair tied because it may fly over your face with the breeze and also get entangled in the ropes and pulleys (this can hurt!).
