Hive Mind, a show by Dee En in collaboration with The Loft and Simba, brings live music and club energy ash the first day to Scion.
Three bands. Three DJs. Two Stages interlinked with raw punk urgency, hazy psychedelia and groove-led post-punk taking shape in our Lounge, while our Main Room moves through bass, breaks, dub and everything in between.
Inshallah Babes channel experimental punk threaded with Sufi poetry, unapologetic queer and anti-caste politics, while the Lojal Experience drifts through jazz, electronica, hip-hop, & funk with an improvised spirit that never lands the same way twice. Dee En leans more into the sharper, groove-driven post-punk psychedelia, softened with lyrics that sits within introspection.
Across the night in the Main Room, Chutney Mary shapes genre-fluid journeys from experimental stretches & footwork to heavy low-end pressure, Khxdeej locks into dub-leaning rhythms and off-centre textures centered around garage, and Yung.Raj pushes through dubstep & breaks with a wide-spectrum intensity.
