Celebrate Women’s History Month at a relaxed evening mixer for those who identify as women working across the arts, museums, galleries, art history, and cultural fields at Sarmaya Arts Foundation. In this edition of Sarmaya Socials, we invite participants to connect, share ideas, and build community in a welcoming, low-pressure setting. Expect conversation starters, opportunities to see artworks up close, and a lively 'PechaKucha-style sharing session' where volunteers can briefly present their work, research, or interests. Presenting is completely optional—come simply to listen, meet others, and exchange ideas over refreshments.
Format (6.00–8.00 pm):
Opening Mixer (15 mins): Refreshments, introductions, looking at some art, prompt-based conversations
PechaKucha Session (60 mins): Short 6-minute presentations by participants sharing their work, research, interests or ideas
Closing (15 mins): Wrap-up, mingling
