Monit Paul is a sarod player of the Senia Bangash Gharana who began his training at the age of six under Pt. Kalyan Mukherjee of the Senia Maihar Gharana and later received the CCRT Junior Scholarship at the age of ten. He has performed widely across India, appeared on Doordarshan and All India Radio, completed advanced training from Trailokya Sangeet Parishad with a gold medal in practical performance, and is currently training under Pt. Debojyoti Bose. Monit has performed internationally at venues including the Warsaw Palace of Culture and the Indian Consulate in Shanghai, and his solo recital was recently featured in the Chaitanya Torchbearer Series – “The Morning Melody.”
Nilimesh Chakraborty is a tabla exponent of the Farrukhabad Gharana, trained from a young age and currently under the guidance of Pt. Swapan Siva. He has received top honours at major music competitions and has performed extensively across India and internationally. An accomplished accompanist, he has shared the stage with several leading maestros of Indian classical music and is an empanelled artist with SPIC MACAY and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
