As Amsterdam’s first-ever no-table restaurant, Restaurant 212 sets the bar really high. Here, the kitchen takes centre stage and the elongated bar around its perimeter offer guests an unfiltered view of the inner workings, so to speak. As a result, the atmosphere is light and friendly, with guests often questioning chefs about their processes and receiving informative answers back. The food is presented beautifully, and pack quite a punch in the taste department as well. The Scandinavian interiors in this Michelin Guide restaurant, although tasteful, are minimal enough to keep the focus on the kitchen.
