Art is often defined by its visibility — what gets shown, who gets seen, and how works are framed within institutions, markets, and cultural memory. Yet, just as important are the gaps — the spaces between recognition and invisibility, between tradition and experimentation, between expectation and autonomy.

This panel explores the role of women in these in-between spaces — as artists crafting narratives, as curators shaping meaning, and as cultural voices advocating for a more expansive artistic landscape. What does it mean to navigate these liminal spaces? How do these artists and curators take up space to express, create, curate, and be remembered? And how do they challenge the structures that have historically excluded or overlooked them?
