Time Travels with Pipa’ is a journey to a different time, experienced through the telling of history and sharing of cuisine by a host family. It is a celebration of traditions and possibly even the creation of some of our very own.
Our first edition is hosted by the Meneses family inside their beautifully preserved Portuguese home in the heart of Fontainhas, Goa. This intimate evening brings together:
- Chef Picu, a celebrated Goan chef who grew up and found inspirations in all corners of Fontainhas
- Marlene de Noronha Meneses, the host and owner of the historic home
- Pipa Rum - a Goan rum with Portuguese spirit
- A live Portuguese music trio, scoring the night with old-world charm
- A curated group of 30 guests
How we shall celebrate :
1. Welcome & Heritage Introduction (Assembly Point : Chef Picu’s Family Home)
2. Musical Walk Through Fontainhas (10-minute walk to the dinner venue)
3. Yard Reception: Drinks & Canapés (20 minutes)
4. The Supper (Balcony — Seated Dinner)
