Dundlod Fort is a magnificent fortress located in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, India. It was built in the 17th century by the Kachwaha Rajputs and is considered as one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture. The fort stands atop a hill overlooking the beautiful town of Dundlod and the surrounding arid landscape.
The fort is surrounded by massive walls and has bastions and turrets at strategic locations. The entrance to the fort is through a massive gate which leads to a courtyard with a beautiful garden. The fort has several buildings inside it including residential quarters, temples, and courtyards.
The most notable feature of the fort is the Diwan Khana, where the king used to hold meetings with his courtiers, and the Duchatta which was made for the queens and her ladies where they watched the court ceremonies in purdah.
Overall, Dundlod Fort is a perfect example of the grandeur of Rajput architecture. It has been well-preserved over the years and attracts tourists from all over the world who come to admire its beauty and learn about the history of the region.
You will be greeted by the royal family of Dundlod ,one of the family members known as Thakur Raghuvendra Singh Dundlod who has been residing in the fort since 1985 and looking after his family legacy and his daughter Mallyka Singh Dundlod who has gone back to her roots to follow her passion is presently involved too with her father.
Thakur Raghuvendra Singh of Dundlod , is a Shekhawat Rajput. Shekhawati is named after Shekha of Amarsar, who came to be known as Rao Shekhaji. He was a brave young king who proclaimed his sovereignty by refusing to pay tribute to the rulers of Amber. Shekhwati remained free from 1471 till the middle of the 18th century.
Raghuvendra Dundlod, fondly known as Bonnie in the equestrian world has been a Pioneer in horse safaris in India since 1985 and currently running 39th year and leading his horse safaris in rajasthan.

You will be visiting Arjun Das goenka haveli which is more than 150 years old. You will also be visiting the largest Indigenous marwari horses stable where 50 horses await you. A very special experience curated by Mallyka for not only equestrians but also non equestrians called Bonding with horses.
The indigenous Marwari horse is known to be very spirited and a forward going horse. We wanted to open the world of our beautiful 50 horses to not only the equestrians but also the non-equestrians. Therefore, this experience is created for everyone who wants to connect with this magnificent horse. They are extremely sensitive and it’s therapeutic to experience bonding with horse.
We offer simple fun techniques which consist of building upon confidence & self-awareness by focussing on the mirroring abilities of horses, allowing them to reflect upon the human participants emotions and behaviour.

The experience introduces you to know a horse by simple exercises like grooming, sense of touch; then there’s a basic lesson on how to mount a horse which builds self confidence in each individual: it ends with the delight of bathing and feeding the horse.
