First Aid and Safety (4.5 hours)

Summary: This course covers essential first aid skills and safety practices to ensure nannies can confidently handle common injuries and emergencies. Topics include CPR, wound care, burns, choking, and safe play environments, equipping caregivers with the knowledge to keep children safe and respond effectively in critical situations.
The course also includes training in Compression Only Life Support (COLS) on a mannequin and the proper use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Participants will receive a certificate from the Indian Resuscitation Council Federation upon completion.
Instructor: Give Care's First Aid and Safety instructor is a certified trainer in COLS and BCLS (Indian Resuscitation Council Federation). She is a Clinical Perfusionist at a leading South Mumbai hospital with 15+ years operating heart-lung systems during cardiac surgery.
Passionate about teaching life-saving CPR skills, she has worked with Give Care as our Safety and First Aid partner since February 2025.
