Also known as the Tibetan temple, the Mindrolling monastery is in the heart of the town’s Tibetan settlement, Clement town. It was established by Khocchen Rinpoche in 1965, and is home to Asia’s largest stupa, ornate statues of Buddhist teachers, art murals and sprawling gardens. The place also houses a cultural and religious centre for Buddhist studies, and gives you a chance to see adorable little student monks across the campus.
