Mead and Honey tasting by Moonshine

We are nano-winery based in Pirangut and pioneering the art of mead making in India. We started as homebrewers in 2014 and over time set up India and Asia's first meadery.

Here we ferment honey and turn it into wine! If you are a fan of Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings or the Vikings, and want to know what they really tripped on, then drop by our set up and discover the drink of the Gods!

Quick note

1. This is a winery, and not a restaurant. So step in expecting to see things like tanks, machines and the one of pipes and cables, here and there! We ain't prim and proper!
2. We dont exactly serve lunch. We do have sandwiches and fries at times which are to be purchased on-site, but feel free to pack something when you come! Alternatively, we highly recommend Kailash Misal and Shripad for a lovely Marathi lunch/snack after the tour!
3. We allow kids, adults and grand adults. However, if you are above 5 years of age, you will need to buy a ticket. Dont worry, we will offset the price of the ticket with a honey tasting tray and a tasting flight of mead (for the ones legally allowed to drink wine) or a glass of non-alcoholic drink for those below 18!
4. We are wheelchair friendly :-) We are nice that way!
5. We are NOT pet friendly...mainly because we love own pets and they get territorial at times. We dont like making them angry. When you come to the meadery, do say hello to our dogs, Rani, Raja, Runt, Saiba and her pup, Madhu!
