Published by Red Rook Press, Mantras of the Moon is a lyrical exploration of identity, cultural inheritance, memory, and selfhood. Through meditative and evocative poems, the collection navigates questions of belonging, Indianness, spirituality, and the inner landscapes that shape who we become.
In this special launch event, Srijani Mitra will read from the collection, discuss the ideas and inspirations behind the book, and engage in conversation with the audience about poetry, culture, and the creative process.
About the author:
Srijani Mitra is a poet and writer whose work explores the intersections of culture, selfhood, and language. She has presented her work in academic and literary spaces including a talk organized by Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad. Mantras of the Moon marks an important addition to contemporary poetry engaging with cultural identity.
