Aparna Jaishankar and Vikram Sridhar rummage through the passages of time to bring you various hues of love etched in our heritage through literature, architecture, songs and poetry through the all- encompassing art form of oral storytelling.
About the Storytellers:
Aparna Jaishankar, a Gold Medallist in Social Work from Bharathiar University, transitioned from corporate HR to the Arts, focusing on storytelling and theatre. Partnering with a Life Coach, she conducts workshops on storytelling as a tool in People Management and designs modules on History, Ethics, and Languages for educators. Aparna has lectured at Christ University on Storytelling and Skill Development. Passionate about Indic Mythology, she blends its diverse forms—songs, dance, and rituals—into her narratives, believing in the power of stories to transform perspectives.
Vikram Sridhar is a Performance Storyteller, TEDx SPeaker, Theatre Practitioner.and a Narrative based Facilitator combining his various interests and work over 20+ years in Theatre, Conservation and Social Work.
He believes in the Desi way of Storytelling as a strong medium of conservation from nature to human relationships as his stories are rooted in folklore, Heritage and Ecology inspired from various communities of the soil . He strongly believes 'A Story a Day keeps the Doctor Away ' not an apple
