Linocut Printing Beginners Workshop

A linocut is a type of relief or block print, and bears a lot of similarities to woodblock printing. Essentially, the artist carves an image into a linoleum (lino) block and what's left of the block is inked and printed

In this workshop you will be learning to transfer, carve and print a lino block. All the materials will be provided. The tools will be provided only for use. No prior experience required, we will teach you from scratch. You take home your carved block with 2 prints. 🖼️🖼️ We’ll be teaching a black and white composition.

If you have a composition in mind that you want to work on, you can get the sketch or a print out of it. If you don’t have anything specific in mind, you choose from the references we have.
