“In the deepest hour of the night, confess to yourself that you would die if you were forbidden to write. And look deep into your heart where it spreads its roots, the answer, and ask yourself, must I write?” suggests Rilke, in Letters to a Young Poet. Bringing forth the necessity of poetry & writing in general that moves something profoundly human in us.
Dillipoetry invites you to one of their signature writing workshops - this time with 'Letters to a Young Poet' The writing workshop will bring together a landscape of immersive activities and tools to dive deep into the themes of love, healing, and dreams - through some prescribed texts written across a wide timeline by some of the wisest voices like - Adrienne Rich, Mary Oliver, and Rainer Maria Rilke, among others. The two-hour-long workshop is designed to help one pay attention to one's inner and outer worlds and express them through writing. The creative tools include facilitated reflection, writing & rewriting exercises, and absurd intermingling of mediums.
