Welcome to Pint of View – Bangalore's first-ever community where lectures meet drinks in a relaxed pub-style setting.
In our 20th session, acclaimed writer and Australian playwright, Julie Janson will take us through a lecture-and-workshop on The Art of Dialogue: how to add authenticity to our characters, how to reveal your story’s personality, voice, and motivation. Why good dialogue matters, how it shapes character and emotion, and how to make every conversation feel purposeful. From character voice to plot momentum to building suspense, this session gives you the techniques to write dialogue that breathes, crackles, and carries your story forward.
Whether you’re a first-time writer, past through a few drafts, or even just love reading a good prose but want to understand the science behind what it so “good”, come join us.
