At Kythera, we believe music can heal you, transcend you. And one devotional music and chants have the power to really make you one with the entire universe.
We've been longing to bring this to the Kythera community, and finally are able to make it happen.
An evening of not just listening, but also participating. Like we do with our regular jam sessions.
We're bringing together a small intimate group of 40 people at our space, Prarthana Yoga Studio, for an hour and a half of live devotional jam with artists Priyal and Ritesh (CIRA).
A Baithak that brings people together and moves them deeply.
What to expect
You'll arrive to a room already holding stillness. Floor seating and cushions, candles casting just enough light, and two artists who've come not to perform for you but to share something with you. The music is devotional — bhajans, chants, compositions that have been passed down because they work on something in us that words can't reach.
At the end of the evening, each person leaves with a Kythera Prasadam Bag — a small, curated collection of things we've gathered for you. A little piece of the evening to carry home.
The whole experience lasts 90 minutes. It will feel both longer and shorter than that.
Only 40 seats are available. We've kept it this way on purpose — because the jam only works at this size.
